meet beautiful baby piper.
evan is one!
my apologies for the extreme hiatus, this past year was my busiest yet and i couldn’t be more thankful for all the wonderful clients i was able to work with this year. the intense schedule came at the expense of blog entries; but the blog is back … well … for the meantime 😉 thank you again for those who have been patient, continued to check back, stalk me on facebook and still hire me without an updated blog entry for a year and a half – your trust means the world and you are the absolute best! xo brandis
summer + fall portrait sessions are filling up!
may and june are already completely booked (with limited room for newborns).
there is some availability in july; however, august and september are also nearly full!
please email me if you would like to get on the calendar.
(and because a blog post is always better with a picture)
this blog post is a very special one to my heart. this pretty little lady (and i guess i shouldn’t say little … she is all grown up now) was my next door neighbor growing up and like a sister to me. i have countless memories of her growing up and felt incredibly honored when she asked me to take her senior pictures. our original plan was to capture them this fall, until i was abruptly put on bed rest. but this sweet beautiful girl waited patiently, and once baby harper arrived and i was back in action, she was one of my first clients back on the job.
danielle, i am so so proud of you (and i can say with confidence, i know your mom would have been too). you have grown into an absolutely wonderful person and cannot wait for you to start your college adventure. you are going to rock the fashion world with all your talent and gorgeousness!! xoxo love you!
what a fun engagement shoot!! i love these two … they are so perfect together!! laura is from my hometown and besties with one of my absolute favorite cousins. i felt very honored when she asked me to photograph her big day. she is such a sweetheart … not to mention incredibly creative; and we had such a fun time brainstorming ideas for their photo shoot. i love that they were willing to brave the winter cold (even though it was incredibly warm that particular day … we had to “pretend” to be cold. not complaining) and shoot at a ski hill as they have a mutual passion for winter activities and snowboarding. laura also told me her and joe love saturday morning coffee runs, so what better place to shoot than a coffee shop! she even searched high and low for porcelain chalkboard paint to make their “chalkboard” coffee mugs, something I’ve been wanting to try since i first saw them on pinterest. i can’t wait for your fall wedding you guys, congrats again!!
meet laura + joe.
