Minneapolis Wedding Photographer | jen + coby

i met jen in grade school and was honored when asked to be a part of her + coby’s big day! i was also excited to shoot in my hometown; small towns have so many hidden gems, my assistant and i had so much fun driving around scoping out locations. the sun was shining, the snow was melting and it was a gorgeous march saturday {although slightly chilly … i thank them and their wedding party for braving the cold for some beautiful pictures}.

these two have been through a lot this past year with coby’s father passing away, however, you could feel his presence as they were blessed by coby’s grandfather who help officiate their ceremony. my heart melted and tears swelled {which isn’t always good when your the photographer} as his mother began their ceremony with a song she personally wrote about coby and sang with emotion to her little boy. these two families came together on this blessed day and bonded a strength of love that is unbreakable.

congratulations jen + coby! may love always be in your path.

Minneapolis Child Photographer | t + c

you all of a sudden realize how fast time moves when you experience life events. for some, its having a child and really understanding what truly can happen in a months time as your child develops everyday skills; for others its the onset of tiny wrinkles around their eyes or the grey hair my husband swears has appeared overnight, and for me … on this given sunday, its was photographing these two little bean sprouts. it blows me away to see what six months can do to a child. these two are becoming such intellegent little people and bring a smile to my face every time i photograph them!

tiegan and corbyn have become such staples in my photography file, that without hesitation i labeled their folder {t+c} … which made me realize how blessed i am to be able to see this family every six months or so much so, that i feel at liberty to label them via acronym vs. my typical client first.last name file.

Minneapolis Maternity Photographer | shelly + hayden

first of all … i don’t know how i end up with the worlds most {fabulous} clients, but i have been graced by some pretty amazing people over the past year and feel forever blessed to have met such wonderful clients.

shelly + hayden are amongst this elite crowd {well, elite in my book anyway}. they made me smile all day … and not because they are so fun to be around, but they are truly sweet people, they love each other so much and they are so so excited to add to their family {not to mention that i have a deep love for them because they were so open to all my ideas}. i am in love with their blog posting as i think their images are {gorgeous} … just like them, inside and out.

some women were definitely born to be pregnant :: no morning sickness, no swelling, a cute little basketball tummy … oh, if shelly could only pass along her genes to all of us. congratulations again you two, i can’t wait to meet your little boy/girl {yes … they are even patient enough to wait to find out the sex}.

oh, and those heels … you go girl! work your hot stuff.
