meet meredith + mike.  i posted their wedding about a month ago and wanted to share their engagement photos from this past summer (a little backwards, i know … still playing catch up).  the three of us spent a fun afternoon shooting near the mississippi river, capturing the busy city around their condo. meredith is one of the sweetest girls i know, she is full of life and always looking out for others.  and mike is her perfect match, a true male style icon and possesses such a genuine personality!  together they share one precious heartbreaker, their dog; lulu … who had to get into a few shots – and what a model!

we just recently photographed crystal + sean’s beautiful wedding last month, so before posting the wedding pictures, i thought i would share their fun engagement photos.  i remember asking crystal about her and sean’s relationship and she described them as a very relaxed, laid back couple who like to laugh (at each other) and love being outdoors.  they wanted their shoot to have a small town feel … and a possibility of being by the lakes with the sun reflecting in the background (love sunset shoots) … this feel reminded them of all their fun times spent at the cabin.  perfect!

as for props (you all know my love for making each shoot represent the couple) we knocked it out of the park and:

• stopped at the cutest little restaurant in wayzata, blue point; their first date location.
• incorporated the board game, gesstures; the game sean used to propose.
• sean’s parents were also kind enough to join us at the end of their shoot to add their german shepard.
• and finally, switched into twins gear to have a little playful fun!
